Super Lights

What is Super Lights?

The Super Lights technique creates bold dimension effortlessly. It is ideal for clients who desire a dramatic highlight. If your client is relaxed or permed, wait one week and one shampoo before performing.

What products do you use?

Kaleidocolors Blue Tonal Powder Lightener and Pure White 10- or 20-volume Creme Developer.

  1. Create a diamond-shaped section at the crown of the head, leaving the fringe area out of the section. Section-out a small diamond within the larger diamond. The small diamond section will remain natural.

  2. Mix Kaleidocolors Blue Tonal Powder Lightener with Clairol Professional 10- or 20-volume Pure White Creme Developer according to package directions.t.

  3. Apply Kaleidocolors mixture to hair in the large diamond section by enclosing small sections in foils. Place 3 to 4 foils back-to-back with no hair left in-between. Skip 1 small (1/4" to 1/2") section and place another 3 to 4 foils back-to-back. Skip a small section. Continue in this manner until the diamond section is complete.

    Process under a warm dryer for up to 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition and style.
