Anita Gutierrez

Anita Gutierrez was born into a family of European-trained stylists who worked side-by-side in their upscale salon creating elaborate coiffures for their French clientele. From the earliest age, Anita watched and learned, aspiring to someday be a sought after stylist and educator like her parents.

Her great passion is haircolor. "I've always had a flair for color," says Anita. "I can 'see' the result in my mind's eye and create it. I love to envision the color concept and formulate to achieve it!" Anita has traveled worldwide for the best haircolor education she could get. "I never stop learning," she says. "I'm so lucky that I can work at what I love the most - haircoloring. There's an artistry and creativity to it that you can't get with any other salon service.

Anita is a Clairol Professional Color Master and Educator who prides herself on teaching conceptual color design to students, and showing them how to use color accentuate cuts and create style design accents. A frequent instructor at major industry trade shows, Anita continues her salon work as Senior Colorist and Stylist at Shear Magic Salon in Cerritos, California.
